- The Annual Tiblow Days celebration is Thursday, August 22nd – Saturday, August 24th. New changes for 2013, learn more and see a detailed schedule of events.
- City Band Concert on Thursday, August 22 at 8:30 p.m. at Kelly Murphy Park. Plus, enjoy the annual Ice Cream Social put on by the Bonner Springs Rotary Club, all proceeds support Bonner Springs community projects. Stop by and say Hi!
- Mayor’s Banquet on Friday, August 23, 6-9 p.m. at the Bonner Springs High School cafeteria, located at 100 McDanield Bonner Springs, KS 66012. Contact Bill Miller at 913.422.7337 if interested in purchasing tickets. $20 per ticket. Mayor Harrington will give the “State of the City” address and present the Marion Vaughn Community Service Award to Al Stuchlik posthumously. Judy Miksch, Rotary Club President, will make a short presentation on the Rotary Club’s activities for the past year. The featured speaker is Dan Brungardt, Unified School District No. 204 Superintendent.
- The 35th Annual Bonner Springs Rotary Tiblow Trot 2 Mile Walk and 5 Mile Run is August
24th at 7 a.m. Register online now. Or download the 2013 Tiblow Trot Form, print and mail in. Meet at Kelly Murphy Park at 2nd and Elm Street in Bonner Springs, KS. All funds raised go toward scholarships and the Rotary’s Polio Plus Program to end Polio worldwide. Learn more here.
